Organisation
Utrecht University has transferred the duties of the Faculty of Medicine to University Medical Centre Utrecht (UMC Utrecht).
Divisions
UMC Utrecht houses 12 decentralised units, called divisions. The divisions focus on patient care, teaching and research.
Directorates
Departments that are not involved in direct patient care such as Education and Training, Facility Management and Human Resources fall under a Directorate.
- Directorate of Education and Training
The Directorate of Education and Training is responsible for the development, delivery and coordination of high-quality programmes in Health Care and Biomedical Sciences. The Directorate delivers on its responsibilities by providing high-quality services to teachers, students, clients and other programme stakeholders. The Directorate works to ensure that learning is strongly linked with practice and that staff are making a leading contribution to curriculum development through scientific research, advice and innovation.
The Directorate of Education and Training consists of a number of departments including:
