Training programmes for professionals
The School of Law’s Office for Post-Graduate Education organises training programmes for professionals. It also offers in-company courses for law firms, law courts, (tax) consultancy firms, ministries, provincial and local authorities and other organisations.
The lecturers who teach the training programmes have won their spurs in law and legal practice. They work in the legal or notarial profession, in social positions, or they are members of the judiciary. Different aspects of the subject-matter are discussed. As a consequence, the Office for Post-Graduate Education offers an extensive range of courses that will broaden and deepen your knowledge.
The Office for Post-Graduate Education is the regular provider of professional education for a number of institutions and offices. This offers commissioning parties continuity, quality and cost control. The Office for Post-Graduate Education participates intensively in the Law Firm School, the joint training centre of the Netherland’s largest international law firms.
Utrecht University law students take masterclasses (information available in Dutch only) at the Utrecht Law School Office for Post-Graduate Education. These intensive four-month training programmes are aimed at students who have (almost) earned their Master’s degrees, and prepare these students for professional practice through traineeships, proficiency training and professionally oriented courses.
