Current projects

Collaboration

Members of the research group participate in Utrecht University's research focus areas Cultures and Identities and Origins and Impacts of Institutions, and in the Onderzoekschool Mediëvistiek (Netherlands Research School for Medieval Studies). The group also contributes to the Onderzoekschool Kunstgeschiedenis (Dutch Postgraduate School for Art History), the Onderzoekschool Literatuurwetenschap (Netherlands Graduate School for Literary Studies) and NOSTER (Netherlands Research School for Theology).

Furthermore, researchers of Medieval Culture are involved in the international research projects Texts and Identities in the Early Middle Ages and Animaliter - Tiere in der Literatur des Mittelalters (pilot version). Prof. Orlanda Lie is chair of the Werkgroep Middelnederlandse Artes Literatuur (WEMAL, Research group Middle Dutch Artes Literature). Lastly, members of the group play a role in the administration of the International Arthurian Society and the International Reynard Society.
