Research Master's programmes

The OGC administers nine different Research Master's programmes. All of these internationally-oriented programmes are closely related to the OGC's research groups and the university's research focus areas. From the very start of their education, students are placed in contact with top lecturers and researchers. More information on the Research Master's programmes is available on their websites (see links below).

Utrecht University Graduate School of Humanities regularly organises Skills sessions for Research Master's students, as well as 'Thesis lab' meetings in which students present their research.

Educational programme for doctoral candidates

Doctoral candidates at the OGC have the opportunity to participate in the educational programme of the Graduate School of Humanities. The graduate school provides classes on academic and professional skills, while doctoral candidates attend specialist courses at one of the national research schools. Doctoral candidates at the OGC can also take part in an intervision group.

Centre of Expertise for Literary Translation

The Expertisecentrum Literair Vertalen (Centre of Expertise for Literary Translation, ELV) organises high-quality courses and other activities for literary translators, both beginners and experts. The ELV aims at stimulating the quality of translations into and from the Dutch language by giving courses and promoting expertise. The ELV is a collaborative project of Utrecht University (OGC) and the Antwerp Lessius Hogeschool, set up by the Nederlandse Taalunie (the Dutch Language Union).
