Management & Policy Support
The Management and Policy Support department is the core of the administrative processes in the Faculty of Humanities. The staff members working in this department provide logistical, policy and executive support to all divisions of the faculty.
The department consists of:
- Policy support. This unit consists of all of the faculty's policy consultants. They support the Faculty Board in making and executing the faculty's administrative agenda and in creating policy for education and research. The EU Liaison Office is also part of this unit. It provides advice and support in drawing up European grant applications and in carrying out international education and research projects.
The manager of this unit and of the entire department is Wieke Eefting.
- Management support. This unit includes all of the faculty's secretaries tasked with providing administrative, human resources, facility management and financial support to the faculty's departments, schools, research institutes and research schools.
The manager of this unit is Daphne van der Werf.
- Secretarial support. This unit contains all of the secretariat staff in the faculty tasked with providing management support, preparing for and recording meetings and managing scheduling and correspondence for the departments, research schools, research institutes, research centres and the Faculty Board.
The manager of this unit is Margje van den Brink.
