Communications & Marketing (CM)
Communications & Marketing provides consulting and support to the Faculty of Humanities for internal and external communications. Its tasks include: Internet communications, providing information to potential students and recruiting new students, providing information to staff, students and alumni, academic communications, press releases and faculty events.

Educational and Student Affairs
The academic secretaries, academic coordinators and student advisors of the Educational and Student Affairs department provide practical and administrative support relating to the education provided by the Faculty of Humanities.

EU Liaison Office
The EU Liaison Office provides information on the opportunities available for Humanities researchers to apply for subsidies from the European Commission and helps them in drawing up subsidy requests. The EULO is also responsible for project management, project administration and reporting for international projects funded by the European Commission.

Facility Management (FM)
The Faculty of Humanities' Facility Management department is responsible for managing all of the faculty's real estate and movable goods. This includes the following tasks: accommodations and security, document copying facilities and office supplies. Facility Management also has a number of conference rooms available for meetings in monumental buildings in the historic city centre.

Finance & Control (F&C)
Finance & Control is responsible for the faculty's financial administration, including financial reporting and the generation of annual reports. The department also processes all invoices and claims via the university's Administrative Service Centre.

Human Resources
The Human Resources department provides persons in leadership positions within the various faculty divisions with support and information on human resources policies. HR also provides current and prospective employees with information on employment terms, pension provisions, evaluation and compensation policies and related issues. HR is also responsible for the management and administration of employee data.

ICT & Media
ICT & Media is an new division within the faculty. The Centre for Information Technology and Multimedia (CIM) and The Philosophy System Group joined forces to improve their ICT and multimedia support to students and staff of the university’s faculties in the city centre.

International Office
The Faculty of Humanties' International Office provides information on study programmes, internships and summer schools abroad, teaching at foreign universities and inviting guest lecturers to Utrecht.

Library Committee
The Faculty of Humanities has a library committee which provides the board with solicited and unsolicited advice on library issues and which discusses the faculty’s requests and issues with regard to the library.

Management & Policy Support (BBO)
The BBO department is the core of the administrative processes in the Faculty of Humanities. The staff members working in this department provide logistical, policy and executive support to all divisions of the faculty.

Most information about safety, health and welfare service is only available in Dutch. An English translation is available for proper desk settings.
University Theatre Studio T
The University Theatre Studio T is an excellent laboratory for students of theatre, film and television studies and of new media. Within their study programme they can put theory into practice by makin their own productions. They work under the supervision of two experienced theatre technicians who help them with lights, sound and stage design.
