Exam Programme and Study Progress Review

Exam programme

On starting your course you will be registered for the exam programme of your Bachelor’s or Master’s degree. Each course sets out what is required to pass its exams in its Education and Examination Regulations and ‘translates’ this into an exam programme. You can find these requirements in detail in the Education and Examination Regulations of your Bachelor’s or Master’s programme. You have graduated if the Board of Examiners of your programme, when taking into consideration your Study Progress Review and the applicable Education and Examination Regulations, decides that you have satisfied all the requirements of the exam programme. Read more about graduation.

Study Progress Review

Your exam programme is the basis of your Study Progress Review. Your Study Progress Review can be consulted via OSIRIS Student where you can see the review in the tab ‘Progress’. The Study Progress Review contains all the results you have obtained, linked to your examination syllabus and states to what extent you satisfy the exam requirements.

If you want to deviate from the exam programme, you must first ask for the permission of your programme’s Board of Examiners. In order to submit such a request you must use the appropriate form. All the relevant information can be found on the webpage Approval and Exemption. If your request receives permission the changes will be uploaded in OSIRIS and integrated into your exam programme and Study Progress Review.

Before you graduate, the Board of Examiners of your course will take into consideration your Study Progress Review and the applicable Education and Examination Regulations, and decide whether you have satisfied all the requirements of the examination syllabus. The course modules that are listed on your Study Progress Review will appear on the International Diploma Supplement (IDS); the attachment that you receive with your diploma.

NB: course modules listed under the heading ‘Results-Other’ are not part of the examination syllabus and do not appear on the IDS.

If you find errors in your Study Progress Review or have questions, contact the Student Desk.
