Career Opportunities
A graduate of the Applied Ethics programme will be skilled in structuring, analysing and evaluating ethical considerations in professional organisations and other institutes concerned with ethical deliberation. Examples of such functions include ethics consultation functions in companies, health care institutions, or government. Students also acquire the analytic and discursive skills that are necessary for membership in various types of ethics advisory/review committees and staff functions in organisations that organise public debates on e.g. biomedical developments. Furthermore, they will have the required competence to start a scientific career in applied ethics centres or philosophy-, theology-, or law-departments at any university.
