Information for Presenters

Oral presentations

If you will be giving an oral presentation at the conference, please note that a computer and beamer are available in each room for a powerpoint presentation. Please go to the room of your session at least 15 minutes before the start of your session to download your presentation on the computer desktop.

The length of your presentation, including discussion time depends on the number of speakers in your session:  

• If there are 4 paper presentations in your session, you will have 17 minutes for presentation and 5 minutes for questions from the audience and discussion.
• If there are 3 paper presentations in your session, you will have 25 minutes for presentation and 5 minutes for questions from the audience and discussion.
• If there are 2 paper presentations in your session, you will have 40 minutes for presentation and 5 minutes for questions from the audience and discussion.

This holds unless you have been informed otherwise by the chair of your session. Please check the updated programme, since there may have been a change with regard the time and place of your presentation. If, due to cancellations, there are a fewer number of presentations in your session than you expected on the basis of previous communication, you may of course keep to the prepared length of your presentation. 


Poster presentations

Posters will be displayed in the hall of the Ruppert building. The poster format is 90 cm (width) by 130 cm (height). Please go to the registration desk upon your arrival for instructions on placing your poster. Posters should be removed by Friday 6 July 17.30. Make sure that you take your own poster with you. Poster numbers are listed in the schedule for poster presentations.
