Marianne van den BoomenMarianne van den Boomen is junior lecturer and researcher at the Department of Media and Culture Studies. Her blog is called Meta BlogNote, because it is about the meta level of working on a PhD, but also because it is about metaphors, which is her main research subject.

Wired UpKoen Leurs works as a PhD student at the Research Institute for History and Culture (OGC). He is a member of the interdisciplinary Wired Up research team which examines internet use of migrant youth in the Netherlands. More specifically, Wired Up studies processes of identity construction, learning, networking and multiculturalism on the internet. On the project website Koen blogs about the research.

Miriam RaschMiriam Rasch is responsible for Studium Generale's programme. She blogs in Dutch about anything that might give food for thought - ranging from literature and philosophy to Britpop and beer.
