Geolab

The GeoLab is the main laboratory facility of the Faculty of Geosciences. The main research area of the Faculty is the changes of the Earth system with and without stress. The human impact is a specific area of interest. The GeoLab carries out research in close cooperation with the scientists and students. The GeoLab is responsible for the labs and carries out research in close cooperation with the scientists and students.

The activities include analytical work (routine and more advanced technologies like stable isotope analyses, X-ray analyses, Laser Ablation ICP-MS) and experimental research. The lab technicians are involved in various activities. New applications are developed when necessary. Routine analyses form part of our task, including services to third parties.
