Utrecht School of Arts

In 2005, Utrecht University and the Utrecht School of the Arts (Hogeschool voor de Kunsten Utrecht, HKU) founded the Professional School of the Arts Utrecht (PSAU). PSAU not only provides teaching, it also offers artist-researchers, scientists and students the possibility of conducting research into subjects at the interface of Art and Science.

Utrecht University and the Province of Utrecht are active partners in the Innovation Task Force, which launches projects to stimulate knowledge-intensive economic developments in the Utrecht region.
