UTRECHT UNIVERSITY PARTNERS
Utrecht University has an international, university-wide strategic collaboration with a limited number of specially selected international universities: the Utrecht University Partners (UUPs). These international research universities conduct high-quality research relating to one of Utrecht University's research focus areas and collaborate with various faculties.
Utrecht University is an active member of various renowned international research and teaching networks, such as the League of European Research Universities (LERU), the Utrecht Network and the Oxford Network.
ACADEMIC INSTITUTES ABROAD
The Netherlands has five academic institutes abroad. Utrecht University co-manages institutes in Athens, St. Petersburg, Cairo, Florence, Rome and Tokyo. It is the coordinating university of the Dutch University Institute for Art History in Florence (NIKI).
