Student organisations

Study societies and student organisations play a significant role in the lives of Utrecht students. Utrecht University encourages its students to join them and under certain conditions it offers financial support to active members of student organisations. 

Utrecht University Fund

Apart from creating chairs for Professors by Special Appointment and coordinating alumni activities, the Utrecht University Fund also supports student activities, including conferences, excursions, lectures and sports activities. To be eligible for funding, the activity must be open and accessible to a wide public and be of a sporting, cultural or scientific nature.
