In addition to these research collaborations, Utrecht University is also working together with two other partner-universities within a development framework. Utrecht University supports these universities in setting up a solid infrastructure for their research and teaching activities:
Latin American Fellowship Programme
From 2010, four scholarships will be awarded to Master’s and PhD students (two per Utrecht University Partner) to conduct research at Utrecht University for a period of three months. The fellowship may lead to closer collaborations in current research or be part of a new project. The fellows are nominated by the two Latin American Utrecht University Partners. More information will follow later this year.
Unesco Chair in Education for Peace, Democracy, and Human Rights
The UNESCO Chair is a fixed-term professorship in the field of peace education. The chair was established at Utrecht University in 2007 with a particular focus on Latin America.
Prince Bernhard Scholarships
