To increase safety and the availability of study space for students after 5 p.m. on weekdays and all day at the weekend, identification is compulsory by one of the following:
- Utrecht University student card / Proof of enrolment for Utrecht University for the current academic year
- Utrecht University Library card
Students and employees of other universities and universities of applied sciences are requested to check in with the doorkeeper
If so desired you may be asked to produce a valid proof of identity.

Restaurant
The library has machines for coffee and tea. You can only pay by chipknip.
You'll find the nearest University restaurant in the building of the Faculty of Law, Economics and Governance at Janskerkhof 2-3.
