Financial matters

Your education costs money. First, you have to pay tuition fees to be able to study. You also need to pay for books and a range of other study materials. You may also have to pay for a room, food, clothing, entertainment, sport and insurance.
Fortunately, most Dutch students are eligible for a student grant from DUO to cover part of these costs. You can also work part-time alongside your studies.
