(Re-)enrolment
To study at Utrecht University it is necessary to (re-)enrol every year. The (re-)enrolment procedure may differ per situation.
Re-enrolment
To continue the same programme you can re-enrol via Studielink. We urge you to finalise your (re-)enrolment request as soon as possible so your enrolment becomes definitive before September 1! If you are not enrolled before September 1 you cannot participate to the courses and exams of the first period. In order to log on to Studielink you need a DigiD if you have a Dutch address (and /or BSN)*. After you log in you click the ‘Possible reenrolments’ button and subsequently the ‘Reenrol’ button. You will receive an email from Utrecht University as soon as the Studielink website is open for re-enrolment.
Download the step-by-step plans for: 'Re-enrolment' and 'Digital authorisation'.
Please note that as of 2013-2014 (re)enrolment is, in principle, only possible with a starting date of September 1. There is an exception for master's programmes with an official starting date of February 1, for these programme's you can enrol with a starting date of February 1 (if you are enrolling for the first time).
If you want to re-enrol for a privately-funded master or an Erasmus Mundus programme, you will receive the re-enrolment form in June. This form has to be filled out and sent back before September 1.
* DigiD is a collective system with which government institutions can verify your identity online. How you can apply for your DigiD is explained on their website. Make sure that you have your Citizen Service Number (BSN) at hand and that you apply for your DigiD in good time.
