You are obliged to keep confidential all information obtained from third parties in the course of your duties. The obligation is related to your position and continues even after termination of the employment.
In general, this obligation does not apply in regard to your superiors nor after you have been discharged from the obligation.
Conversely, your superior will be obliged to keep confidential any information about you, unless the law provides otherwise.
