University organisation of Communications & Marketing

Utrecht University has a central Communications Department: the Communications & Marketing Department (C&M). All departments and colleagues at the departments can contact C&M for communications and marketing advice.

COMBO

All Faculty Heads of Communications and C&M Managers are members of the Communications & Marketing Policy Consultations (COMBO). The COMBO members add further detail to the university-wide communications strategy and tactics. Some examples include: reputation management, marketing communications, internal communications, client marketing, alumni policy, fundraising and digital communications.

Communications network

ComNet is a network that consists of nearly 200 colleagues who are  involved in communications and information at Utrecht University. ComNet brings them together to share knowledge about communications projects, policy development and the profession. This takes place via a newsletter, ComNet meetings and the ComNet website (with log in option). Other Communications Departments

Each Faculty has its own Communications Department. The James Boswell Institute, University Library, University Museum and the Centre for Science Communication and Culture also have their own Communications Department.
