The Utrecht University Foundation is a good-cause foundation committed to raising and managing funds in order to help achieve the mission of Utrecht University.

Alumni have always been important and committed partners to the University. In 1886, the Utrecht University Foundation was established by alumni with the aim of promoting the interest and welfare of the University after their student years.

Financial contributions by private citizens, funds and companies are becoming increasingly important. Our sponsors help us in our efforts to make Utrecht University an even better and stronger academic institution than it is now. An institution where young and ambitious people from all over the world come together to study and work towards a better future.

How you can contribute

You can contribute in different ways, for example by becoming a sponsor. With a minimum annual contribution of 20 Euro, you support the facilities and activities that we provide for students and alumni.

You can also contribute by sponsoring a specific project, such as the Utrecht Excellence Scholarship Programme for talented students.

Another way in which you can support us is by establishing a named fund, leaving a donation to us in your Will, etc.
